Hailing from Spain and the UK and based in Bristol, Garcia Sullivan’s multinational upbringing provides a worldview to his music and inspiration to his songs about universal truths and human emotions. With a sound reminiscent of Flyte and Katy J Pearson, Garcia Sullivan is carving out a unique niche in the indie-folk scene in the UK. Garcia Sullivan’s first single, Butterflies garnered international attention, earning him a place on the cover of Rizing Playlists 'Folk Rizing' playlist on Spotify. Alongside being placed in many large playlists on Spotify, the song was also picked up by indie folk giant Alexrainbird, who included it in their 2025 Indie Folk compilation on YouTube.
Garcia Sullivan has previously supported artists such as WILDES, Firewoodisland and Jono McCleery, and has performed at various festivals in the UK. He's received showcase support from BBC Introducing in the West and numerous plays across regional UK radio.
His long-awaited debut EP, Butterflies, is due in July this year, and has been produced by MPG Breakthrough Producer Of The Year Nominee Elliot Vaughan (Frank Turner, Jason Ringenberg, Spunge). The second single from the EP, Rewind, is out now.
